I think this has happened to all of us who are not fortunate enough to have or to have had a laundry machine in our home or apartment and were forced to brave the public laundromats. It's laundry day, you've put it off for as long as you can because you just really don't have the time to stand around for three hours doing your laundry and watching children run amock through the room. In your desire to prolong the invevitable you neglected to keep an accurate accounting of the clothes you have to wear and are now forced to scrounge through your closet in hopes of finding somethin, anything to wear. What are some of the weirdest outfits you've been forced to don just so you could get your laundry done? What are some of the strangest or most memorable outfits you have seen others wear to the laundrymat?

Funny you should mention this topic. Whenever I have to do laundry there are certain clothes that I would never wear out and I call them my laundry clothes. LOL I wear a long top that I keep aside that has many colored spots and looks like I was dropped here from the hippy age and I have three/quarter length pants that have deep pockets that I carry my quarters and keys. So, this would be my suggestion. Save aside two outfits to wear and wash them bi-monthly so you'll always have something to wear to the laundromat. But I do like your question and hope you get a lot of responses. Good luck.

Hey thanks :) I've been fortunate enough to have never had to wear an outfit that was too outrageous, though I have seen some very odd things. Like the time one woman apparently came in her old's bride's maid dress. I was thinking she had been at a party all night or something, but she just laughed and said it was the only thing in her closet that still fit and was clean. I do something similar to what you do. I have a pair of black cargos and a gray t-shirt set aside for laundry days. ey're baggy and comfortable and don't look odd in the least. :)
