i read in bbc.co.uk news today that drinking more than 1 cup of coffee a dayy may increase the risk of heart desease. they studied 3,000 people and found those who drank more than 200ml tested higher for variety of indicators of inflamation. a professor of nutrition and diabetics at Harokopio University says that they were surprised by the result of the findings. a study published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found in 3000 people in their blood samples that:Men who drank more than 200ml of cofee a day had 30% higher levels of C-reactive (CPR) protein and 3% higher white blood cells counts --- both indicators of Cardiovascular Inflamation than those who dont drink coffee. Women had 38% higher (CPR) and $% higher white blood cell counts. Also, Cafestol and Kahweol, found in unfiltered coffee, were linked to high colesterol levels. so, people with high blood pressures are advised to reduce their coffe intake.

Till today, the argument of advantage and disadvantage of drinking coffee is still on. But one of my friend, age 72, who drinks more than 5 cups of coffee daily are still living well till todate. Another friend's grandmother who passed away last year at the age of 90 having the habit of drinking not less than 10 cups of coffee everyday. What is your comment of these two cases?

actually, there are really a lot of different arguments in coffee now.... like the article i read and some say it is even better to drink more cups of coffee a day. but then, it seems... the findings are on different cases. the one i had (this discussion) is on coffee's effect on those who have risks in cardiac problems. the others are those in different cases like, it's good on reducing the risk of diabetes, Parkinson's.... but don't get me wrong... i think coffee in terms longetivity is another different matter. right now, these are the findings of the experts so better to take their advises.

coffee is ussually fine with those who drink. but it is bad for those who have risk on heart problems and may good to those who have diabetes instead. but coffee to others may not boost their mornings.... and when taken on late noons, it may disturb or give you a hard time in sleeping.
