have you tried to meet some japanese people?

i have met a japanese peoples before and did not find that their language is funny. In fact i have learn japanese when i was doing my degree. It may sound funny to you, but do you really know that they don't really rely on english to be success in technology? The bow matter is totally not funny to me as it is their tradition and culture to show their respect to others.

It is true! They do sort of bow their heads everytime they talk. Maybe you should try learning a little more about their culture, probably even learning to speak a little Japanese. Well at least the basics. So you would be able to appreciate them even more.

Iwas with a chinese woman who's family did the same thing,i just love asian women,the food the culture every aspect,and at diner time they all spoke chinese and i felt alittle left out but thsts their heritage and lifestyle so i tried learning chinese,no way,just couldn't do it but i tried,and we were together 14 years and her parents learned pretty good english which was a benefit to me at least,yes the asian culture is amazing

no up to now i havn't got any peoplle like tat.

Just a thought. If you think Japaneses speaking Japaneses is funny, perhaps they think you speaking English is funny too! :P And the bowing you mentioned, it has something to do with their tradition.. just being polite and respectful. ;-)
