DO you eat PIZZA with fork and knife OR just pick it up and take a byte ??

hi, interesting discussion,...but to be honestly truthful i think eating pizza with a knife and fork spoils it's taste...it's like eating a hamburger with a knife and fork...it's just wrong. i love to eat pizza and there is nothing better than picking it up with your own fingures and eating it that way!!!! Cheers!!!

I use a fork and knife if I have company or if I am out in a place where it would be expected. At home or when acceptable, unless it is really messy stuff, I 'd rather eat it with my hands.

Depends on the circumference I am at that time. Like if I am around four peoples than I would like to eat pizza neatly with a fork and knife but when I found myself alone with a pizza I don't use any utensils and will eat the whole pizza by my bare hand. Actually I feel better when I eat pizza with my barer hands and it give me genuine taste. I think most of us like to eat pizza in the same way I do. If the slice only has cheese and 1 topping, I eat it with my hands. If I have something like chicken marsala pizza, or caesar salad pizza, then I use a knife and a fork.

If it is way to hot or to big a piece, I use a fork, no knife. But usally I start out using a fork but then just give in to my hunger, pick it up and eat away.

i use a fork and a knife! our pizza's are so full with cheese and sauce, it's not a good idea to eat it with your hands! and i have to cut it anyway so i use the fork and knife!

pizza is a finger food . . . it is proper to eat this food by hand. there are just pizzas this time which are bulk in contents already & in much bigger sizes that we need to eat them with fork & knife already .

pizza is a ride of mary go round for me so then i dont wait for knife o fork and most of the time but the second pizza i eat after 1st is with fork having fun.........cheers

Well, pizza would be one thing I don't eat with utensils. It would be bare hands for me most definitely. Um.. smells good! :P

I just pick it up and eat it, unless the pizza is so packed with toppings that they're sliding off everytime I pick it up, then I'll eat it with a fork. To me, pizza is finger food thus you eat it with your hands. :)

it depends. but most of the time i just pick it up and eat. if the pizza has loads of toppings, i use fork and knife... :)

Both, it depends on what kind of pizza it is (deep dish, pan, or thin crust) and depends on where i'm at.

When I'm t home I will eat it with my hands, but when I'm eating out I will use a knife and fork.

I don`t like to eat something with the hands...NEITHER PIZZA!! I always use the fork and the knife!

Me too I usually use fork and knife, I like putting a lot of olive oil on my pizza and I can't stand greasing my fingers, but I have to admit that pizza is pizza, and so, if I should be forced to eat without fork and knife.... I wouldn't have no problems to pick up slices of pizza with my fingers.

Normally, I eat PIZZA with no knife or fork. It's enjoyable eating it that way. But, when I know, I didn't wash my hands, I go with the knife or fork. It's safer that way. I just love pizza, it is just too damn expensive here in our place.

I like eat pizza with my hand. It sounds more "natural" than use fork and knife. I don't know why, but I always enjoy if I pick it up~ The pizza looks more delicious if I ate with my hand
