How do you rate windows VISTA RC1 ?

Please tell me how do u feel about the latest release by microsoft, WINDOWS VISTA RC1.

i rate it 9/10 as it looks great and features are better then xp but will rate 10/10 when the final copy releases

rc 1 version is not good & it can't be becuase it is a beta version but wait for some time vista is releasing it's final vista build rtm 5800 gold in this november just use thstand then comment.

its a good experience but major limitation is high congiguration

u see with the ever increasing workload u definetely need a high end pc,but vista will work fine on a 3.0 ghz with 512 mb ram.

and one thing more Vista will configure itself according to ur hardware.so it wont slow down ur PC too much.

i will rate it 4 out of 10 it is a memory eater..... consumes heavy RAM. i m having 1GB ram then too it was slow takes 16 GB space to install, the setup does not continue if there is no much space...... too boring

Dont know but i was not able to install it inspite of having 14GB of free space annd it was RC2..... It use to eat the memory.... And yes surely its a new flavor by Microsoft copied from Linux and MAC... LOL ;D

don't know y u r facing such a problem, but at my end Vista is runing smoothly even on 512mb ram.ya it does take a lot of space but i was able to install it even on a 10gb partition.but still it's a different flavour from microsoft.

man, vista is working fine on my 3.0 ht processor with 512 mb ram.didn't need any special hardware changes.

you are lucky have new computer with big ram. almost in here the pc ram only 128! how can vista run on there litle ram.

ok no problem but i assure u one thing that whenever u plan to upgrade ur pc Vista should be on the top of the list.it's too good. Hope u'll plan to upgrade ur PC soon. Best of luck
