I was asking the other day if myLot allows having 2 different accounts on the same IP,becouse my gf would like to subscribe here but we share the Internet Connection through a router. I thank very much to those who gave me advices! I contacted myLot and now I have answer.Becouse I was asked to announce their answer to all who were concerned about this problem,too...HERE IT IS: "There can be more than one user in a household but you will have to use sepparate PayPal or e-gold accounts. Also your accounts will be closely watched due to potential for abuse." Pretty fair, don't you think?

I am so glad they responded and you posted their response. I didn't think there was a problem but after reading you other post I started getting worried. My niece and I live in the smae house and we use a router for our High speed internet and so we have the same IP. I feel much better now. We do have different paypal accounts and email address and I have no problem with them checking up on us because we we are doing nothing wrong and not abuseing anything. I think it is pretty fair. I hope they do montior accoutns and get rid of the ones where people are only choosing each other as best response. My niece and I don't even respond to all of each other's discussions because we do have different likes and dislikes. Thanks again for sharing this.

I think that Mylot are very fair with this. It is good that they allow multiple people to use the same IP. Mylot is a good thing for families to do and I know a number of people who are students and using it to improve their English. My only concern is - if they feel that abuse is happening. Would people be kicked straight off or would they be given a warning. For example - if student 1 raises a new discussion and his friends student 2 then posts an answer. Student 2 then starts a discussion and student 1 responds. Is this cheating? Or is it just people with similar interests getting involved in discussions?

Well it appears that they are fair about this.My loved one and i just managed to do this ...so it's possible.I think they cut you off right away if you abuse as in best response rating for "yes,no,yeah" but you can post between users.Politically corect

I knew I had read something like that somewhere, before referring my son. I think that is a very fair way to have things set up and I'm glad that they are watching out for possible abusers.
