Getting your blog discovered, Part 2

Last week, I began a discussion on an idea I had to drive traffic to blogs. In it, bloggers would subscribe to the database, which would get you a list of blogs in the program. You would then go to those sites and write a review on your site, providing a link. In return, they would also write a review of your blog, with links. I now have the site up and running. I decided that charging for the service would not be in the best interest of the site. I'll just donate my time to get it up and running and get the traffic flowing. If you are interested, please visit the site and read the first blog. Then, use the form on the side to subscribe. I'll send you a list of blogs as soon as they become available. If the form does not work for you, please leave a comment on that first blog with your email address and web site address. Don't worry, I have to moderate the comment before it posts, so you're information will never be put out there for harvesting. http://thebloggingreview.blogspot.com

I think this is a great idea. I have 2 blogs that I will be adding to your data base. Here is an idea though let the person write the review in there blog with a back link to the blog that they are reviewing. That will also help with the site ratings

That's the intention. They write a review in their own blog about the other person's blog, including a link. Thanks for the input.

Good idea, I have not got a blog yet, but I intend to start one, when I do I will use the link you provided and fill in the form. I agree that keeping it free is probably the best way to promote the reviews, its a good idea.

We'll look forward to having you in the group. It's my hope that by keeping it free, it will make it available to more bloggers.
