What is the best deal you every found at a yardsale?

My husband and I like to sell online and a couple of years agao we went to a sell and found some videos for $5 each. They were all old Disney movies and many other good titles. I bought a few after making a deal for 4 for $10. Then my husband had the idea of trying to buy them all to sell online. There were 580 videos in all (we found out later). When he asked what they would take for all of them, the lady replied $80. We could not load them fast enough. We ended up making over $1500 dollars off that deal.

I have never been able to get anything really good as a yard sale as it seems I never hear about them until they are over or I have to work on that day but my mom came home last year to visit and on the way home she passed a yard sale and picked up some costumes for my younger children . They were the heavy one's with the hoods that are really cute and she got them for five dollars . For me to have bought something like that would have been over a hundrend dollars each . So I was excited about her purchase . Of couse not as good as yours but I was still excited lol .

Hey anytime you can save money its a good thing. Kids can be costly and for her to find such a good deal on customes was a good thing. Now get out there and find a yard sale LOL. I can't wait for the snow to melt and the sales to start!!
