Its starting to frustrate me. I dont know what to do. I cant open or access all the internet websites in my computer. I can access mylot, Thank God! But geez! It keeps saying Firefox cant find the server for "website"! I have tried everything. I deleted cookies, cache, history.. EVen turned my firewall on and off and then on again Just to make sure. What else did i forget? WHat else can i do? I have scanned the pc for a virus and none. Things are clean. I want to do an online scan, i cant even open the damn website still! Argh! Anyone got any ideas to share?????

if you are using a DSL modem then just unplug that modem, turn off the computer, turn on the DSL wait a minute then turn on the computer. hope this helps.

i found this on the mozilla site: Can't find this server Firefox can't find the server at %address. * Check the address for typing errors such as ww.mozilla.org instead of www.mozilla.org * If you are unable to load any addresses, check the computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. there is more info for firefox here: http://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox:1.5_Network_Error_Messages

Try accessing with the firewall turned off completely. Try accessing with a different browser like Opera or IE if you can access them with other browsers or if you cannot access them also try uninstall and reinstalling Firefox, this would solve most issues.

Maybe some sort of block? Did you install something to block a child or sibling?
