Adoption...mothers who've given up their children

I have a question...and this is oddly enough something that never REALLY crossed my mind until watching Sundays episode of Cold Case.....This is actually a question for the mothers who've actually given up their kids at birth (for whatever reason since there are many) Even better would be to hear from mothers who were very young when they got preg and they were "forced" to give their kids up.. Was it hard for you? I mean emotionally.....did you resent your parents/caregivers/whoever made you give your child up? Since then have you thought of him/her? Have you wanted to or tried to locate him/her? It struck me the other night that its very possible that my mother had jsut as much of a hard time as it's believed my dad did ya know...I'd never really given it any thought before.... thanks for all who share
