Rude means discourteous or impolite, rough in manners etc. We all come across people who were rude to us in many ways. But i believe in each country there are different things which are considered rude and the same thing may be considered fine in other countries. Like in my India, When guests come into house its rude to not ask them for water or drinks. Now i stay in Malaysia where its rude to horn / honk while driving though which is okay in India. So what is considered rude in your country?

I've been to Malaysia and you are right, I didnt hear any car horn sound. Now I know that it is considered rude. In Indonesia, it is rude to take/give things from/to others by using your left hand. If in case you have to, you should say 'I apologize for using my left hand'

Thanks for telling that. Else when i visit Indonesia i would have used my left hand and wondered why people are not happy about it. In India giving or taking money using left left is considered disrespect to money.

I agree it is rude to burp loudly and not say excuse me. But i have met people who just burp and that's it. They dun believe is saying excuse me or anything else. Some parts of India is okay to burp and not say anything.
