Living Life on Auto Pilot

It's funny how moments begin to blur together...first a week or two passes, and the next thing you know several years have gone by. I guess this becomes an issue of living your life on auto pilot, not really living but just surviving. I wonder when this happens to us and how. How do we stop noticing the little things that make life worthwhile in favor of monotonous routines that create few if any memories? How do we get out of the rut and live our lives to the fullest? I'm hoping to hear your stories and your advice. We only get one chance to live this life, shouldn't we make the most of it?
