Another cat in HEAT!

We just got Cookie thru heat and now Nefer is in heat! The rescue lady said that they probably hadn't been in heat because it was winter - well, I guess I'm hearing the first crys of Spring!!! Cookie gets fixed Friday, maybe we can do Nef in 2 weeks after that - then Tuti! Then we'll be done with fixing these darn cats!!! After not having to get any cats fixed in a long time, so many at once is straining the budget!

Our baby is in heat too.. and I am thanking God that she gets fixed next week because this has been an adventure with 3 other cats already fixed and one male that doesn't realize he has been fixed.. *rolls eyes*

Good luck with your kitty. I remember well the howling. Is that how they came up with the word, 'caterwauling' (sp)? Hope she doesn't escape on you in the meantime!

Thanks for your kind words. Happily, neither of these cats are real brave, tho Cookie spent a good bit of time out on our cat porch crying - the dogs kept any strange cats out of the yard & the screening kept any away from Cookie. Nef is 4 & a half, but really not brave & I don't think she even knows about the porch!
