Hi, yes most of the members here have held very good jobs, you ask how did they get the job I believe it depends on their qualifications and recommendations, the most important thing to do when you attend an interview is to try and relax and show that you are the person for the job you are applying for.

I have been interviewed for various jobs before. At the same time, I have also interviewed potential staff for my companies. It pays to have stood on both side of the table, so to speak. Rule number one : The first impression. You must portray a perfect impression as you walk into the room. Your dressing, your walk in, your gestures, facial expressions, etc are very important. They already give the interviewers about 50 per cent on how to grade you. Rule number two : Your speech. The manner of speech tells your character. Speak hastily, you are mostly on your way out. Speak clearly and slow. The interviewers must hear every sentences of what you are saying. Rule number three : Do not promote yourself. I have sat in many interview boards where the interviewees sold themselves so high with words. They would go on and on about their achievements. Don't have to do that. I think I'll leave it at these three rules first. You passed these three rules, chances is that you'd still have a longer time at the interview rorom.

When it comes to an interview..most of them shake a little bit.. According to me.. 1) No matter you know something or not,you should keep a smile on your face..Even if you dun know the question, you can still reply politely with a smile.. keep smiling.. 2) Body language.. The way you move..behave..it also depends on this..You should give the interviewer a feeling that you are normal out there.. 3) Confidence.. Answer with confidence.. This is where the interviwer gets impressed..the confidence & the ability to tackle the problems.. 4) If you have the above three things..the half of the battle is done.. The knowledge about your field..if you have the above three qualities..Even if your subject knowledge is about 60-80%...It doesn't matter much.. This is my opinion :)
