would you be a witness?

what if one day you have witnessed a crime.., a girl being raped and killed by group of gangsta (rapist and killers), what will you do? will you report them to the police and stand as witness or you will just remain silent for the protection of your family?

witness - Witness protection will encourage more witnesses.
It is a very good question.You have the urge to be a witness.Anybody can do that if the Government of the particular country takes good care of the witness and gives the proper protection.Is it happening in all the countries.

you're right.. the problem is, even the government alone cannot give the proper and enough protection to the standing witness.. i guess, that is the reason why other people choose to keep silent for their own sake protection. i hope this problem should be resolved first by the government and it's officials.
