How can you instantly spot the difference between a gay and a straight guy?

Sometimes, it's easy enough to tell. Especially as I have quite a few gay friends. We can probably tell by the mannerisms, the way one walks or talks, the sense of fashion and all.
But how can you tell if a gay is posing like a straight guy?
In the gym, so many guys work out... building muscles, powerlifting. They really look like cute hunks. But the moment they become "cuddly" with another guy in public... you'd know they are not straight.
So how can we tell and spot the difference?

The best way to identify a gay is through his looks to another man. Usually, the style of looking at a man of a gay person is so sticky. He looks you straight in the eye and looks at you for a very long time. another way is when you are in a sauna, a gay usually have a hard on when he sees naked men. Mannerisms and actions also are easy to identify for a gay person.Usually gay persons are muscullar and have good body built and they are so tidy with themselves and physical looks. Goodluck!

That is not so hard, you only have to put a nice looking guy gay near the person that you think is gay and see if they will make eye contact. i have a few gay friends, some of them look gay and some of them look completely straight, some are out of the closet and some are not. i asked them this onece in a party that i was invited to. and they told me that a gay person will always try to get an eye contact with the other one.

yeah i believe so. however, there are gays who pretend to be straight guys whenever in public. i also can't identify with the bi-sexuals.

Short answer, there is absolutely no way to tell if a guy is gay just by looking at him.
Long answer, I have known effiminate straight guys. I have known masculine gay guys. I have known gays who are slobs and straights who are neat freaks. I have known fat gays and skinny gays and everything in between. To think that you can tell a gay guy just by looking at him or even talking to him is a massive stereotype.
And, I'm sorry, but masculine gay guys are not necessarily "posing as straight" as you put it. Some are out and proud and just real.
The homosexual community is very diverse. There are people from all walks of life and varying degrees of effiminence(if that is a word). Likewise, effiminant men are not all gay.
The only people who seem to be able to tell are other gay guys, but it is only because they are looking for it. Gaydar is good, but not fullproof.
