Chronicles of Narnia

Is this the movie or the cartoons? I am in love with the book series! But when the movie, "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" came out, I wasn't expecting it to be superior, but I was sooooooooo disappointed with it. Such fake looking characters, and not well made. But the books, I have read so many times. The whole group and family I was with all was extremely disappointed with the movie too. I am glad some on here posting, did like it.

I have read all of the books when I was younger, but I have not gone out to see the movie yet, I don't want to see it if it dosen't hold up to the book version.

I really loved this movie! I thought it was a great transfer and was just incrediable. I had just recently read the entire Chronicles before I watch it and I was shocked at how much they kept it true to the story. You're actually the first person I've come across who don't like it.

I have to agree with you here too. I watched it a while ago with my young cousins and none of us really enjoyed it all that much. I felt like it was missing some little spark of magic. Admittedly some good animation but it just seemed a little ... hollow and I remember feeling that some parts seemed to drag a bit longer than they really should have. Cute but that was about all for me. I don't remember the kid actors impressing me either. Overall, an ok movie one I'm glad I saw once, but I wouldn't watch it again and I definetly wouldn't buy it. Don't believe I'll ever get the hype that surrounded it though.

I loved it myself! But I loved those books so much as a kid, so it would have had to be really bad for me to not like it.

I actually had to watch it twice before i really enjoyed it. THe first time it just didnt seem that interesting to me. I just couldnt get into it like i thought i would. The second time i watched it i liked it better.

I recall having to watch the cartoon "the lion the witch & the wardrobe" when I was in middle school or somethign & I hated it for some reason.... but I actually really enjoyed Narnia & will most likely eventually buy it.

The new Chronicles of Narnia was pretty good for us. That Santa is my kind of Santa. The witch got hers too when the lion pounded on her. That was way cool. The wardrobe was done nicely and the filming of the goat man scholarly as he seemed was enjoyable too. There was alot about this movie that we happened to enjoy! Sorry that you did not.

I think u should watch it agin wid a bit more interest....cause i liked it very much....it has all the stufff.....animation for kids.....war for adventure ande of cource gud story

I thought the movie itself was well done and I loved Aslan, but the kids were dreadful actors. Still, I liked it enough to buy the DVD of it, that says enough.
