Is denying the existence of God a sin ?

I have been taught from my childhood that there are certain things that should not be done , because they are sinful . Commiting sins leads to punishment from God . But gradually I have found that existence of a God who can punish , who can bless , who can bring happyness to life of people ,itself is doubtful. I have found thousands of such people who believes like I do . Is denying the existence of God a sin ?

i dont think it is a sin. but sooner or later ul be enlightened but if you still deny him openly and dont believe. you're the worst sinner.

It depends... If you're denying him because its simpler to believe that you have no obligations towards him or your religion, the yes it's a sin. By the way, God gave us free will, meaning that he doesnt interfere with our lives. He lets things happen, therefore, he doesnt control if you're happy, sad, and obviously, he doesnt punish people.

Yes. And it clearly states that in the Bible. It says, although I cannot remember the verse's reference off the top of my head, "If you deny Me, I will deny you." If you choose to deny Him, you are asking for your free ticket to Hell. Of course thousands of people believe that. Religion is very abstract, and many people who cannot see cannot believe. A true believer knows his blessings, and knows that the provisions given have been from the Father. The ones who think that everything they have earned is by their own to hands (and has nothing to do with praising the Father) will have a very rude awakening the day die.

LOL, you don't see a problem with that question? If someone denies the exsistence of god he or she probably dosen't believe in God. And if he or she dosen't believe in God then how can it be a sin? At least to them? :-)

YES it is. This thing is mentioned in all religion we have in the world. How you can deny the existence of the GOD if you are living by the GOD. I think you are thinking too much without any proper guide in your religion. If you are really guided properly then you will find that the GOD iss really there and no way we can deny Him

If you say it's a sin to deny God then that can only be a sin because other people say it's a sin. So I don't think you can call it a sin if you don't believe in God. Otherwise i would not deny God if you believe in Him

do you deny Him because you do not believe or because you do not understand. Not understanding, and not knowing God is not a sin, God already beleives and loves you.
