try to converse in your home in english. or have a word for a day or a week. and use that word every now and then... try to listen to english songs or watch tv shows or movies that are in english. or better yet, have an english tutor... :) welcome to mylot! cheers!

read english newspaper everyday and use dictionaries for those words
which are not understandable

just talk to all only in english, even they critise dont worry about that and if you feel a course is need then go for trynig course

Turn on the closed caption on your TV set.
First tune into kid shows and read the closed captions as you watch.
Once you have mastered that basic vocabulary advance to shows for older children.
This is a fun way to gradually increase your basic vocabulary without getting too bored.

watching english programs is one good way of learning. reading english books. but the best teacher is experience. talk to people and learn from them. don't hesitate to ask if you don't understand something. a dictionary at hand is always a good step.
