I went to my thursday Ob visit to review all the information and lab results the Dr. had. ANDDDD. the verdict is..He said I was fine???? I had very small cysts on my ovaries, and my hormones are going back to normal. He said that I just need to loose weight and he thinks that will solve almost if not all of my problems. He said I don't have a severe case of PCOS, and that if I do not start in another 3 months to come back and he will give me progesterone pills. He did not want me on birth control (yea) and wanted me to try Vitex. Go figure I found a doctor who was willing and knoledgeable to know this. I feel so much better knowing that I am not crazy and that I am really FINE. I won't bleed to death and that if I want another kid I will be able too. Just not right now. Looks like I will be loosing those 50 pounds I gained last year. I have already lost 15!

That really is great news! I am happy that you not only received such great news, but you are not not so stressed about it! Because we also know that stressing about it can cause it to be late also. :) Even better that you have a doctor that listens and is knowledgeable! Congrats! Thanks for sharing the great news!

I am really glad that you are fine!!! I have PCOS. Since I was 17 I haven't had a period on my own...until I was 24! I always had to take a pill. Now I am regular and I am in the process of losing weight also!!! I have lost 30lbs so far! The last couple of times I have noticed a big difference in my cycle....so I guess that is a positive? But, the chances of me ever having children are very very slim. My doc told me that to get pregnant I will probably have to take meds, and I dunno if I want to do that. Keep up the great weight loss, you should be PROUD!!!!

Thank you very much. You should be very proud of the 30 pounds you have lost!! I will keep you in my prayers. My mother had horrible Endemet. and PCOS and still had 8 kids all together. NO she did not have twins nor did she take meds...she prayed and had some misscarriages.

Everyone keeps telling me it is possible to have kids. Right now I think I am more focused on my health and getting my body to where it needs to be instead of trying to have a baby. Afterwards I will see where things go. If it is meant to be it will happen. If its not, then there is a reason for it :)

That's super news! I'm so glad that you are fine. Some doctors seem to know a bit more or are willing to do or try different things. Way to go on the weight loss! 15 pounds is super! Keep up the good work! I hope that soon your female problems stop- and you get back to normal so that when you're ready you can have that child! Good luck!

I had to let you guys know! You all have been such supporting of me it makes me want to cry! I really do not think I would have gotten through it without out you guys helping me, or if I did it would have been so nerve racking I would have turned to the Lexapro again. Thank you!

Glad to hear that all will be well. Good luck on the weight loss. An article I read stated that getting your eight hours of sleep each night will help you lose weight. Don't really understand how or why, but I know that when I go through periods of not sleeping, I can't lose a pound even if I am exercising and eating right. But when I am sleeping well, I don't even have to exercise to lose weight.
