I went to beauty college when I was just out of high school. My stepdad came up with the idea and I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I went. I hated it! Perming and frosting people's hair was the worst and I wasn't crazy about cutting hair or doing manicures either. I completed school, but never went to my state boards to become a cosmetologist or manicurist. I never regretted it. I don't cut anybodys's hair now, except for my own.

i was a shampoo girl in highschool for the local beauty shop, and i loved it. when i got out of highschool, i started beauty school, but then got pregnant and married, so i had to wait a few years to go back,, i love it- i now have my own salon, and life could not be better!

Well,be a student of beauty school sounds not too bad. Loving every beautiful thing is human's nature! If i was a beauty school student, means I'll be an artist one day and to creat more beauty for my dear friends,or using what I had learned to help people to become more beautiful,more handsome and have more selfconfidence.

Yes, I thought that was what I wanted to do with my life when I was 18, but realized after a month, I didn't really enjoy it, so I dropped out.

Well, at least you did not waste time working at it. I think it was probably better that you go do something, and learn something, than just to do nothing because you could not decide.Your step dad may have thought you had a talent for it. My neice went to beauty school, but was allergic to the chemicals. She does cut my hair from time to time. I do not think she would heve enjoyed it, though.

I am not very good with my hands and not very artistic at all. So I would have failed miserably. My cousin and sister both went to hairdressing school and loved it. My sister used to do my hair, and so did my cousin. Now I have absolutely nobody to do it and it looks a holy mess.
