yesterday on a news channel i saw and heard that the ratio between girl and boy child is dropping significantly. in some provinces it has gone to 1000 to 800 which is very shameful thing. we have to stop girl death during pregnancy. it is shameful thing for india that on one hand that we are progressing so much but on the other we are doing this kind of thing. we have to progress on the mental level more than physically.

We have to start giving proper education to people in villages as these kind of stuff is more seen in villages as there peopel are stil following the dowry custom which we have to abolish from the roots and so then only can people be less affraid to give berth to girl child. We have to show them and make them know that girls are no less and we have to show them that girls can do good. All we need is a little awareness of our government so that they may check on this and keep the ratio good. People have to rise against it.

appreciated response. but let me know and remind you friend that not only in rural areas but in urban areas also people are taking lives og girl child for example in delhi, chandigarh and mumbai. we have to take some drastic steps to stop this. may god bless you too.
