I don't cope with failure very well since I have been brought up in a family of achievers that's why its very hard for me to accept failure of any kind. Recently I have experienced what I consider to be one of the greatest failure of my life and until now, almost a year later I still haven't recovered fully from it and it seems that I am going to fail at the same endeavour yet again. No matter how I try I just can't shrug it off and charge it to experience. I always mull over it and think of what ifs. How about you how do you cope with failure?

Hello Joy, we all have failures in life. No matter how hard we try to make it a success, failures is always around the corner to choke us immeasurably. Whatever happened to you, leave it behind you now. The past is past and we learn to accept it and move on with our life. For as long as you kept questioning about it, it will never go away. It already happened so let it go. From there, we try to improve ourself more. Don't you think you grow more stronger and wiser by your past failures? All the best.

Thanks so much for that wonderful advise. My counselor has said pretty much the same thing to me. But I find that it is much easier said than done. Yes, I do feel stronger after failing but how could I leave it behind when everyday I always see someone or something who inadvertently remind me of my failure and the things that it cost me? I hope that one day soon, all the bitterness will go away. Perhaps then I'll be able to move on.
