Firstly, anudas, I see you are new to myLot, so welcome. Ihope you will spend many happy hours here. Maybe you have a different interpretation of mind power, but I see mind power as the efforts of man, according to his own way of thinking. If we look at it that way, we can see that throughout history, mind power has brought us into a lot of conflict, including world wars. I am sure Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini used a lot of mind power, as did many others. Of course, mind power has also been used for very much good. Medical science has been greatly improved by the mind power of good men. We wouldn't be using the internet now had it not been for mind power put to good use. I am not sure what you mean by "With mind power only we can survive" I'm afraid I do not believe that man's mind power is the answer for the good of the world in which we live. My life is in the hands of the living, loving, creator, Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ. I trust Him and I am content to leave my life in His hands.

From Buddhism, I believe they say these things exist, people have some abilities or can develop them, but often they can pose a hindrance to "true liberation" or something, because you're distracted in "gaining some special power" instead of "uprooting suffering in yourself." If you're "attached" to being supernormal (or attached to anything) that can cause suffering. I guess it's up to you to decide.
