Help !! I Missed the Ending to CSI last night

I watched it up to the last little boy being found alive on the bus, then my 2 year old woke up sick, she was coughing so hard she was getting sick..Long night, but I was wondering who killed the first little boy was it the grandfather?

The grandfather's actions caused the subdural hematoma which took hours for it to show up and it and of itself would not have killed the boy. The pedophile gave the boy aspirin and whiskey which in combination to the head injury ended up killing the little boy. Murder solved!
