Do you think the practices they have are okay, or are you for credit card fee reform? What do you think of their fees? Do you have a story to share of a credit card gone crazy? I have several...

MY husband became ill and I contacted the Debt Management Co. All the credit card companies except one excepted the program and this was in my husbands name. I offered to pay the back charges and the pay the payment every month and they would not even except a program. I would like to name the company but do not no if that is allowed? They charged me a late fee while I was waiting to hear from Debit, they charged us so many late charges it put us over the limit and then they started charging me over the limit fees and late charges and raised the intrest to 30% if I sent them what I could I would be just above the over the limit fee, and late charges and with the finance charges I would be dumping money into a empty whole. My husband has alzheimers and his medicine alone is 200-300 dollars a month and on one income the medication has to come first, There is only one income and I am willing to pay them a reasonable monthly payment if it reduces the principle. Am I wrong? Where is our GOUVERNMENT...Talk about robbing someone..STephanie

I only use my credit card to pay for somthing because I earn money for my daughter's college by doing so. ( a percentage of the purchase) I will only purchase something that I know that I can pay in FULL when the bill comes. I will not pay interest fees! Years ago my first husband and I charged something and started making payments. Only 2 dollars of the amount we were paying each month went to the principal, the rest was going towards interest!! No more...not this 'ole gal!

We do not use credit cards and have not used them for many years. I think they are just out to get your money any way they can They tap on fees for everything. And they even change the amount of days between due dates. Used to be 30 days for all of them but not anymore. They are tricky
