I always seem to have tons of jell-o but we don't really it it just plain. Sometimes I will add fruit to it, but I don't know anything beyond that. Do you have any good ideas?? I would love them all and will rate everyone!!

I like rasberry jello with frozen raspberries added to it mixed with col whip. It makes a very light and refreshing dessert.

You take the green one(lemonlime) and put it in babyfood jars. Then you leave them around the mall. Makes people think. Yes, I know that thats bad And yes, I did it. Was funny at the time. That was before 9-11

I know how you feel. I still have some strawberry jello sitting in the back of our cupboard & I know that it needs to be used before it gets old. After reading this discussion I've decided I'm going to put the jello that I have to good use this weekend. I know that in the past I have used jello for creating a lot of different recipes. I know that there are quite a few that I have loved trying. And that my other half & me would have for dessert each night. I included three recipes that I have made in the past that I found are rather simple to make. And that are rather tasty to eat as well. I hope if you try them out you enjoy them as much as we do! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx "Jello Layer Dessert." Ingredients are as follows: - 6 ounces of gelatin, any flavor your heart desires - 4 cups of frozen cool whip - 3 cups of boiling water - sliced fruit if desired, but is optional Directions are as follows: - Firstly dissolve the gelatin in water. - Then whisk in the cool whip, make sure to reserve 1 cup though to top in each dish that you are deciding to serve. - Then pour in to individual dishes. And chill for 30 - 60 minutes, & then top with sliced fresh fruit if desired & the remaining cool whip. Serve & ENJOY! "Mini Mold Gelatin." Ingredients are as follows: - 1 1/2 cups of cold water - 1 1/2 cups of boiling water - 1 package of strawberry flavored gelatin - 1 package of cream cheese, softened Directions are as follows: - Firstly spray the multi-bundit muffin pan with cooking spray. Then pour the boiling water on the gelatin in a medium bowl, then stir until the gelatin has been dissolved. and stir in the cold water. - Then beat the cream cheese in to the gelatin mixture, make sure to use a wire whisk, & beat until smooth. Or if you don't have a wire whisk you can use a blender. Just throw the gelatin mixture, along with the cream cheese in a blender. And cover & blend on medium speed until smooth. Then pour this mixture in to muffin pan cups. And cover & refrigerate for about 1 hour or at least until firm. - Then unmold the gelatin on to a tray. And lift each mold with a spatula on to plates. Serve with whipped topping or just serve & ENJOY! You can also add some fruit such as peaches around the edges or on top if you'd like to! ENJOY this unique treat! . . "Jello Delight." Note: You may have tried something such as this before hand.. But this may be a different way of trying it then usual.) Ingredients are as follows: - 1 can of sliced peaches with juice or you could even use fruit cocktail - 1 package of strawberry or cherry jello- - 1 container of whipping cream or you could use cool whip Directions are as follows: - First in a medium sized add of course the jello crystals, along with 1 cup of water. Make sure to stir of course until the crystals are dissolved. Then open the can of the peach slices or fruit cocktail & pour the fruit juice in a cup or even a liquid measuring cup. The fruit juice in the can should fill the liquid measurer up to about 2/3 of a cup full. After this had been done.. Add the cold water in to the measuring cup so that it equals to a cup. Pour the one side of the fruit juice/water in to the bowl & mix. Then set aside. - Place the sliced peaches or the fruit cocktail in the very bottom of the large bowl. Or you can even put them in the bottom of a small portion sized bowl. After this is done.. Pour the jello liquid that you have in to a bowl or even the small bowls you have decided to use over top of the peaches or the fruit cocktail. - Afterwards cover the bowl or the bowls you had decided to use with saran wrap & place in the fridge for a few hours. Or you could even allow it to set over night if you'd like. When the jello is all set just top the this jello dessert with whipping cream or even cool whip. Serve & ENJOY!
