Let's hear it for LARGE

We hear so much these days against the large family, due to cost - benefits (education, attention, toys etc)- over population theories etc. Well, let's hear what is GREAT about large families. What are the benefits of being a part of a large family, as a child as a parent.

I'm a mom of SIX plus two step children. Of course we can't always afford EVERYTHING they want but we do our best. Listing off advantages is hard because it's just normal for us. I barely remember the days of only one or two children. I'm sure small families are happy but so are we. Children from small families are close, so are mine. Small families love each other, so do we.
