If I'll speak for myself I can't tell you why the people eat ice cream at the winter because I don't like eat ice cream even at summer......Yes you read right I'don't like ice cream!!!!I'm not from so high latitude countries, but still the winter is cold here. The shops with ice cream always have people in.Of course my bigger problem is my son because he like it ice cream and he want it at the winter just like you.He has often sore throat and I don't let him eat,but there is also my brother and he buy for him always icecream....as you understand we have a family war issue with the winter-icecream...

Oh, boy. Only done it once, and won't be looking at repeating the experience! My friend and I were walking along Darling Harbour in winter. It was also raining, and we didn't have umbrellas. For some strange reason we thought it would be a real good idea to eat ice-cream. So we ended up walking across the bridge with the wind and the rain all over us, absolutely frozen, licking ice-cream. Needless to say, we got a LOT of strange looks from people. Even the friends we were with thought we were nuts. It was so cold, we couldn't even taste our ice-creams! I just can't see the attraction anymore! lol. For me, ice cream is going to be kept as a summer food. lol. Purely due to the previous stupid experience on my behalf. lol.
