Remember the hard shell ice cream sauce?

hard shell ice cream sauce - The recipe for an item we liked when it first came out. Am not sure that it is in the stores anymore.

Here is a recipe for it!!!1 cup or 6 oz of semisweet chocolate chips 1/4 cup butter cubed 3 Tbsp Evaporated Milk cook and stir over low heat it should be melted and smooth Serve warm over ice cream, the sauce will harden. Refrigerate any leftovers, it can be reheated in microwave This makes 1 cup.

i'm sorry if i'm so late,i haven't been here for few days and now i have to respond to a lot,i love ice cream so i'm going to try to make this one see how it goes,i do appreciate for teaching me how to make it,cheers

That sounds so easy, my brother loves this. He has been sick this year. I wil surprise him with this when I go over to make him dinner. thanks for sharing this great idea.

You are right. He does have to watch his sugar. He is only allowed to have so much, so we make desserts only on special occasions.

I'll have to give this a try. I gave up dessert for lent, so it'll be a few weeks before I get to try it. I'm glad to know it's all regular ingredients. That stuff used to scare the crap out of mebecause I thought it was some weird chemical that made it harden so fast.
