First of all, I don't really believe in astrology. If you are interested in it, though, then it sounds like you are on what is called a cusp. According to astrologers, people who're born on cusps tend to exhibit traits of both of the signs which form the cusp, possibly leaning closer to one sign than another. Personally, I think that the whole thing is bunk.

think of it as being on the cusp with traits of both. That gives you more to work with.

I know the feeling ... I had the same problem ... believe it or not !!! freaky ;-0 I was born on the 20th of january and for some I should be capricorn, for others aquarius ... I found out that it actually depended on the year I was born in ... see I was born on a leap year which means the suns stayed longer in my sign ht year so I am a capricorn ... I would assume something of the kind could apply to you as well so are you born in a leap year as well ?
