I don't know about you, but I want to stay at home with my 2 year old, however I need to find some part-time work to help keep up with the bills. Everything is getting very expensive and my rent has just gone up. Again! I am capable of audio transcription, lecture typing and general administration but am finding it difficult to find geniune work in these areas, especially as I live in Australia. Unfortunately the work at home jobs are not as forth coming here in Australia even though the government says we have a more jobs than employees available. I think it might be an excuse to keep bringing in workers from overseas to lower our wages. I really want to work at home for my sons sake, because he will get more of my attention and all the research from the UK says that putting children under 3 in day care all the time can be a bit damaging as they are competing for attention from 1 adult to 5 maybe even 10 other kids. Does anyone know of any international freelance or transcription employment sites, that don't charge to join and accept Australian workers? Thank you for any input, it all helps.

I am a college student so I know what it is like to really need the money but not have the time. So I looked to the internet and have made hundreds and hundreds since last october! I made a personal website to help other people make legitimate money http://www.freewebs.com/moneytrooper and it doesn't cost anything. Good luck to you and message me if you have any questions!

Hi killjOy, thank you for the link to your website. I had a look and I tried to join inbox dollars, without success, in the past I don't think it is available for people who live in Australia. I am really looking for a typical job that can be done from home like audio typing (also known as audio transcription/dictation), where I type up documents from peoples recorded seminars, lectures. I am even looking at being able to type and set up ebooks for people. I am learning a new software program at the moment to do so. Thank you for your help though it is appreciated.

HI there, A great site I would suggest is www.wahm.com. It is completely free, and there are lots of work at home moms there who always post new work at home leads there. There is also a folder specifically for transcription employment. Good Luck!
