Yes, I do feel that it can help to improve our social and behavroil skills.

Hi! Welcome to myLot! Yes, I believe that chatting can help improve communication skills, especially if you're chatting in a language that you want to learn (for example, English). Chatting (by typing) is also like talking because it's a way of expressing one's self. The limitation is that you can still correct what you had typed (and you can't correct what you had said -- hehe). Therefore, chatting can greatly help in terms of written communication. To be able to make up for the limitation in oral expression, it is advised to actually practice speaking the language with people who can express themselves well in the chosen language that's being learned.
