Organic Products: Do you prefer them than the regular ones?

When I go to the grocery store, I can't seem to avoid the organic product section. I know these products are healthier and if I have more budget on the grocery, I would be purchasing these products. I was looking at a whole chicken fryer...usually it will be around $3.99...and then my husband wanted me to get the organic whole chicken for $8.99. I was like wow, I can have two of these for the price of one. Would you pay that much difference in the prices just to buy organic products? Or you are already into these products? What do you think are the advantages/disadvantages of these products?

You should whenever possible buy the organic. The hormones etc in meats are playing havoc with all our bodies. The sprays on fruit and vegetables play havoc with our hormones, liver and body in general. Local is always better since off season produce comes from elsewhere including overseas or South America and they spray the heck out of things. Try all you can and do garden if you can it will improve your lives.

My husband and I are totally into going organic one of these days. He is starting with the coffee, and fruits for my toddler. Nowadays, we are still on budget with our groceries but later, we will catch up with everything and I make sure we will get our grocery in a nature's pantry or something. Thanks for the comment.

I'm quite lucky, because living in the UK, the difference in price between organic and non-organic products, is not that much. I can't afford to buy all the organic products I would like to, as those little differences do mount up if you go mad and just buy organic, but I can afford to get a few organic products. There is a huge difference in terms of flavour, quality, and how healthy it makes you feel! Perhaps it may be cheaper if you were to search online to see whether there are any local organic farm shops or farmer's markets near you, or maybe there's an organic farmer who makes deliveries. Buying direct from the farmer cuts out the middle-man, so ought to be far cheaper!
