In my point of view,Diablo is perhaps the most classic RPG game presented by Blizzard,I love it so much and for a long time,I get addicted into it day and night,whatever I do and wherever I am,I think of it,the fantastic scenery,the bloody battle,the dazzle magic,the powerful character skills,the complicated labyrinth,the formidable magic equip...almost take my breath away,I am looking forward to the newest version.That would be more amazing....

Well... I think it's a pretty straight forward game, to be called a RPG. I mean it's like a semi-3D heavy and gothic Mario, if you can put it on a simple way. The quests are pretty straight and it has that "seek and destroy" strategy.
Anyway, it IS one of the best games around and a classic for sure. =]

I totally agree with you here, I've only played Diablo 2:Lord of destruction, and I'm absolutely in love with it. I love the story, the characters, the environment, and I always go back and play it every now and then. I've been waiting for the next one to come out since I played that one. I've finished it countless numbers of times with each character and still it never feels linear or boring. It could easily be the most classic RPG game ever. Totally genius.
