Is there anyone that follows the Arena Football League? What team do you like?

I was curious to find out if anyone here actually follows the Arena Football League. If so, do you have a favorite team? What do you like about this league? Do you like the NFL better? I much rather prefer the NFL but I do occasionally watch the AFL as well and I cheer for the Philadelphia Soul when I am able to catch them on tv. It is definitely more high scoring and faster pace but they are not quite as talented as the NFL players.

I am from Australia but have seen a few games of Arena Football on ESPN. I think its much more exciting than regular NFL (which I also see on ESPN), but the standard isn't even close. Still, something to watch in my spare time.

I agree the standard is not even close to the NFL as it is supposed to be more entertaining with more scoring possibilities and quickness. Some NFL players end up in this league and some NFL players come from this league.

Oh yes. I am definitely into sports very much, though I am not a huge Arena Football fan. I am just an occasional watcher. I do follow my high school sports as well and some college sports.

I definitely prefer NFL more then arena. We have a local team here and while it's sort of like a 'farm team' level of the AFL it just doesn't seem to have the talent that you see in NFL. I also don't like the rules as much. My biggest issue was letting go of the NFL ideas and realizing that this is a whole different game, not at all like NFL. The style is different, the rules, the scoring, the players, etc. So while I don't think I'd ever choose AFL over NFL, I don't mind catching a game once in a while. It's kind of like floor hockey versus ice hockey... it's definitely not the same but you can enjoy a game here and there still.

I have just started getting into AFL, so I'm still learning the rules and stuff. I like it better than NFL. But one reason I follow the Philly Soul is because of Jon Bon Jovi, LOL!

Count me in the Bon Jovi fans! LOL! But all the people I know got started that way and then became addicted to the game very seriously. Being from Italy, it's very hard to follow games and stuff, but I do my best to watch it and/or hear something every now and then. GO SOUL!!!

I too am a fan of Bon Jovi and became interested in this team because of him and Ron Jaworski. I think those two make interesting co-owners as I am a fan of Jaworski, going back to his days as Eagles quarterback. The AFL is definitely a faster paced game and more offense in this game.

I don't follow it, but I probaly should. What channel does it usually come on? I never see it on TV. I bought the Arena Football game, got it for only six bucks! It was a good game, not the best, but defiantly worth the low price I paid for it.
