HOW DID SO MANY VARIED LANGUAGES DEVELOP ACROSS THE WORLD? WHO SET OUT THEIR SYNTAXES? WHO WERE THE FOUNDERS ? clearly, not an easy question if one were to give it deep thought..does history provide any pointers as to the founding fathers of languages as it does to the inventors who discovered so many useful gadgets? and even more surprisingly though gadgets like the telephone, light-bulb, etc.did travel across the globe so to speak how come languages did not? would it not have been wonderful if each country had a pot-pourri of languages from across the globe within its territories rather than a few? of course india has many languages of its own, but not many international ones barring of course ENGLISH !

Read Your Bible. It tells you where all the different languages come from. It's in the book of Genesis. There was a place called Babalon where they built a tower trying to reach heaven and God punished them by confounding the languages so no one could understand anyone else. All the different languages were brought about at that time and they went to different countries.
