Today my son (15 months) tried to eat the pad out of a ink box, yes those things for kids to stamp with. Thankfully we got most of it off. What ever will he try next?, the last time (about 6weeks ago) he drank some anti viral stuff for the fish, thankfully he was fine then too. So anyone else's kids as bad as him??

My son eats anything and everything he can get his hands on. If he can get to the dog food, apparently that is a very tasty treat that he can't resist. We tried keeping him out of the room that it was in, but then the dogs just brought it out of the room a mouthful at a time and offered it to him somewhere else. He's also particularly fond of pulling fuzzies off his clothes or finding him in the floor and chewing on those. I don't think he ever eats them, but he definitely chews.

When my kids were very young, they love to eat the most those circular things like buttons and coins. It is common among children to be eating almost anything colorful. Kids will immediately bring to their mouth anything that amazes them. Take extra care of those liquids, some will prove to be very harmful. Keep them out of your kid's reach. Those items we use to treat the fish in the aquarium are among those things which might prove harmful. So take care, I know how much you love and value your child. Good luck in rearing your cute and lovely baby.

My 19 mth old likes to dip her cheese doodles in her cake icing at birthday parties. She acts like it's the best combination.

My daughter used to eat bean bag beans, we used to have a bean bag that got a hole in it and I though I had vacuumed them all up, but missed some, so she ate them. The only problem was when she pooped the next time it wouldn't flush down the toilet because of the bean bag beans were making it float. She used to also eat tissues.

The bean bag beans reminds me of my friends daughter. She had one of those swimming pool noodles and the ends looked like it had been put in a pencil sharpener because the daughter would eat it all of the time.

LOL been my experience that kids will eat anything they can get into there mouths that may taste good to them all you can do is keep stuff that may hurt them up out of there reach mine would eat bugs they woudl catch in the yard or stuff they found on the beach they seem to like things that taste salty for soem reason.

One of my sons ate a nickel. It wasn't really that big of a deal as there was no choking involved. The real problem, as far as he was concerned, was that I wasn't able to 'get it out.' The other ate a couple of snails from the garden when he was a toddler, and that has become one of those stories we trot out that he would rather we didn't!

Our son (19 months) used to play with the washclothes pins all the time. But now he is at a certain age that he can take the two pieces apart from each other and tried the metal piece in the middle of it. It was in his mouth. Thank God we were on time taking it out of his mouth. So you learn everyday a bit more. No more washclothes pins for him to play with. And he loved them so much, all the different colors in a little basket... Well, any other strange things he put into his mouth besides a piece of a leave on the street, we didnt see him do yet. But ofcourse we are very cautious also! We encourage him trying different structures of food instead, to keep him happy. When we eat tagliatelli he gets a string from our plates without the sauce to mesh around and try how it feels in his mouth. He also gets some tiny parts from raw veggies with have as a sideplate with our dinner. Little apple, cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries (he loves them).
