Would anyone care to inform a newbie about how much actual money can be made from this venture ? All seems great and has certainly seen my keyboard getting hot (being in Minnesota that aint a bad thing).

How much money you make here depends on how much time you put into it. I've seen some people say they make $40 to $50 a month here- I'm only about $20-- but I'm not on all the time. Mylot pays for quality- Write alot of wuality responses to peoples discussions-- There is a breakdown somewhere of what you make for what you do- I don't know how good it is.. I just try to answer about 20-30 discussions a day- I know you make more money for best responses-- so try to stick to the discussions that interest you. Good luck here!

I hit my first $10 around the time I made my 400th post. I didn't have any referrals working for me, I made it all on my own (not that I don't want referrals, I just don't have any). I'm pretty good about making detailed responses and rating discussions I am in, all the stuff the myLot instructions tell you to do, so I'm making a pretty good average earning per post. It's great typing practice, too!

Thanks for the replies..i'm just getting a feel of things here. I didn't realise the best reply earned money, but that makes sense. The referrals bit also makes sense. What else increases revenue ? As for typing practice..it's a fantastic place for RSI lol

You can also upload photos to your interests homepages or add one when you start a discussion for additional points. Photos uploaded to your profile don't earn you anything, though. Once you reach 500 posts, you can add photos to your responses, as well. Make sure the photos belong to you or are free of copyrights before posting them here. Rating other people's responses and posts supposedly also can slightly increase your earnings. The last thing I can think of is to get many friends with similar intrests to your own so you will have a good pool of discussions to respond to and of readers for your posts. It is easier than scanning through all the general posts lookintg for something that might interest you. Good Luck.
