The ORIGINAL MOVIE or the 2006 REMAKE?

i actually watched both the original omen and the 2006 remake. which is better? i mean, it is true that the effects of the 2006 version is superb above the original, but come to think of it, the people who casted the original movie looked really creepy hahah! so what do you say?

Definitely the original. It didn't need enhanced special effects to be creepy and haunting. And Gregory Peck was an incredible actor.

I dont think there was really much difference in the two but I think Id have to go for the original purely because of that fact - its the original. The remake followed pretty much the same plot so you kinda knew what was going to happen.

The original is definitely the best on this one, as is the case with most movies. I couldn;t make it all the way through the remake. The best movie remake in recent years, in my opinion, is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Hills Have Eyes.
