How to save electricity!

A few basic tips on how to save electricity. Please add your own tips as well. I am always trying to find ways to save on the electricity bill!!
1. Use ceiling fans instead of the air conditioner
2. Use a clothes line or laundry rack instead of a dryer.
3. Wash laundry in cold water instead of hot.
4. Use a spin dryer to dry your clothes.
5. Replace regular light bulbs with compact fluorescents.
6. Stop watching TV, lol
7. Sleep your computer, when not in use.

Those are some very good tips. Here are a few more.
1. Unplug appliances and phone chargers when not in use.
2. Turn lights off when you leave a room.
3. Check your fridge for air leaks and don´t stand with the door open.
4. Listen to the TV with it´s own speakers instead of hooking up to surround sound.
5. Iron a bunch of clothes at once instead of heating the iron several times in a day.
