Here in the Philippines, almost everyone knows how to sip Coke, Sprite, Mountain Dew etc from a clear palstic bag using straw. I do not know in the other parts of the world. I would like to know if you(other poeple other than Filipino) have seen someone drink from a plastic bag.if you find it disturbing, unnerving, fascinating or what just drop off your comments to this account.unfortunately i haven't got a picture of a Pinoy sipping soft drinks from a plastic bag instead of from a can, bottle or any sturdy container. thanks...

I have never seen anyone drink a soda this way. I guess it makes sense because we have children fruit drinks in little mylar bags and when I was in elementary school over 30 years ago our chocolate milk at lunch came in clear plastic bags that we poked a straw through. but if I were to see someone today walking down the street with a straw in a ziplock baggy sipping soda I would probably look twice. Do you like frozen coke?

frozen coke?haven't heard of that either.but if i may say so, we have different frozen foods here in the Philippines, aside from ice cream, ice, etc. we have halohalo, and ice candy.ice candy is flavored ice in a long plastic bag. frozen you take it out of the freezer and bite a small hole at the bottom of the ice bag, and sip the juice. how's that?ice candies come in mnay flavors, what ever the vendor concocts. you can also make ice candy using coke or milk.

Freezer Pops - a favorite treat for american children and adults alike.
that sounds like our Popsicles or freezer pops. Freezer pops come in a long narrow tube, and is flavored sugar water (koolaide like) popsicles come frozen on a stick, and drip down your arm!
