Is Capital Punishment Justified for Worst Crimes Like Rape?

I don't think it is justified for any crime at all. If we kill someone it makes us as bad as they are. Who are we to say what is right or wrong in this world. We can't get inside that persons mind and find out what is wrong with them that makes then do those crimes.

I do think its completely justified.. I can't think of any harder punishment than this.. And also it can't get worse than rape, so its all justified.. I am all for it...

i agree with this proposal very much. it is only rightful and justified that people who commit worst crimes be given the worst punishment that can possibly be meted on the offender.

I think capital punishment is a little sever but justified in some cases. I mean if a man kills someone then I think he deserves to die also. If he were to rape someone, I think he should die too for the fact that he took something that didn't belong to him. RAPE IS AWEFUL! (I know from experience and I think he should rot in h--- for it)

I think that categorizing a crime and having the same punishment for all the persons commiting it is wrong.Further capital punishment must be given with great care after it is fully justified.Before giving such a punishment it is necessary to know the background in which the crime was commited , if the person is of bad nature or was he provoked to do the crime because of the cicumstances.All these things should be considered and if it is found that the person has commited rape intentionally then he shold be given a capital punishment.
