How do you know when its time to have children? If you are planning to have children how do you know when to start? After finishing College and having a good job, how long do you work in your field before you start having children?

I think that you should either have your children before you start your career but after your qualifications, or accept that you are likely to have to start at the bottom all over again once you have taken time off work with them. It is unfair but seems to be the way things work.
