Imagine you got hit by a car and could be saved only by a special operation. The operation would give you a normal, happy life, but would unfortunately cause you fifteen minutes of terrible, stabbing pain every morning when you awoke. Would you want to have the operation?

waking up every morning feeling a terrible pain is not a normal life. i will not take that operation simply because i'd be miserable. you wake up in the morning looking forward to the day, but then you are first greeted by pain. i don't think i could take that kind of life.

Umm... I think if was was very happy in life at the time then yes, it would be so worth it. I go through lots of pysical pain all the time so i am used to it. And to be happy and such for the rest of my life, and to be with my fella and look at him everyday

Very simple answer to that for me - YES! A few minutes of pain is worth it to be alive, to continue my life and to be able to do all the things I've not had a chance of doing yet. I'd try and take the 15 mins of pain as a reminder to live every day to it's fullest too.
