sun certification for java programmer

Hi people...this is naren again...well iam an student doing my engineering in computer science discipline...i had registered for the SCJP(sun certified java programmer) exam last year..i planned to write that exam by coming august or september...still now m not yet started preparin for that...can any one of u here tell me how hard the exam going to be...i will be thankful to u if u give additional information.....thanking u......

which one r u trying ?
java 1.4 or 1.5 ?
for 1.4 it does nt need much prep.
read SCJP book by 'Keythi sieria' twice.practive 5-6 mock tests.
that is enough.
i dont know about 1.5
but it is little bit tough.
