I heard a lot of horrible stories about living with in-laws. Is it true? Or does someone here has a grand time living with them?

trust me, even if you don't have any problems with your in-laws, you don't want to live with them. sooner or later, there will be conflicts, and when you have children, this will bring even more conflicts as you may not like the way your in-laws treat your children.

My husband and I live with his brother. I hate it, but it's my husbands parents house ( they are deceased) and he's been living here forever, and he's a slob,he smells bad, and he's very selfish, he has a mental illness. The house hasn't been upgraded since 1970 and alot of their parents furniture/stuff is still here, because he hasn't moved on, or is too lazy to have a garage sale. Everything he does irritates me, and i can't wait till my husband and i move, so we can get our life back. Sorry if it's so negative, but you asked, it's the truth.

I love my in-laws we always have a nice time together. Howver that being said I would NEVER ever want to live with them. Why in the world would you want to do that? I would never like to live with my own parents either.

I hated it for the most part. I told my husband if we did not get our own house I was moving back to my parents. I was so upset & tense living with my in-laws. I felt that they underminded everything that had to do with my daughters'. My in=laws only live 3 streets away now, but we get along better because we don't live with them.

i have a good time living with my in laws before.i have learned so many lessons with them.sometimes we do have problems but i handle it properly by respecting them and not to talk for a good sake.
