To love is to accept, to reject is to hate? Accept all beings; no one deserves to be rejected or humiliated.

That is true somewhat. I don't suppose there is ever any easy way to reject a person, but if one takes the time to consider the other person's feelings, there might be a chance they don't go away feeling completely rejected and worthless or hated.
