True Believer, be very honest on this, what is your favorite Marvel Comic Book film and why? Mine is "Spider-Man" because out of all of the Marvel Comic Books films, this is the only one that actually stuck to the comics in storyline.

I love the Xmen. All three are great to me. I like wolverine because he is very strong and he really does have a heart. I liked the first spiderman but not the second. I also liked the fantastic four.

Again, Halle Berry as Storm is what kills it for me, but other than her, I love the "X-Men" films.

I'm with you on the Spider Man films. I think these have been the best movie adaptations. They were closer to the story line, and I felt the characters also stuck a little closer to comics. I'm really looking forward to Spidy 3. I saw a new trailer when I went to see 300 and it looks really good. I thought the x-men movies were ok, but I was not wild about some of the casting (like you I didn't like Hallie Berry as Storm at all), and I was not crazy about the interpurtation of some of the characters (the softer side of Wolverine is not for me). Daredevil was awful in my opinion, and Fantastic 4 was ok, the second one has more potential. I thought the Hulk movie was ok too, but I know i have some friends who hated it. I've only seen it once thoguh, so I should probably rewatch it and see how I feel about it again. I haven't seen Ghost Rider yet.

"300" is not a Marvel Comic film, I believe Vertigo and DC have something to do with that. The Hulk could have used a lot of help. "Ghost Rider" is really good.

No, it is okay, I heard "300" was a good film as well, so it is okay, but yes, "Spider-Man 3" is going to be a really good film. There are so many villains in this film that it is off the charts. Sandman, Harry Osbourne is now a Goblin (I do not know for sure if it is Green Goblin or Hobgoblin seeing as how the films are following both the Ultimate Marvel and 616 Marvel Universe; for the record "616" is a code for the Main Marvel Universe), and the Black Alien Symbiote (Spidey's Black Costume, but remember this as well, just because Spidey is in the Black Costume does not mean that it is the Alien Symbiote, it usually means that he is in mourning or he is anti-hero for some reason). I also here that Black Cat and others could make cameos, but it is all hearsay at this point.

Oh, yeah I know 300 is not from Marvel. I mean to say when seeing 300, I saw a new trailer for Spiderman 3 (which is from Marvel)...or at least it was a new to me trailer. Sorry that wasn't clear.

It has to be the X-Men for me, of all the comic books from Marvel, I feel that the entire spectrum of mutants actually provides a reflection of most if not all disaffected parts of society in present day civilisation, as well as how they handle the added stress of being different from everyone else. of course, the spectacular visual effects that brings to life the mutants powers only adds to the wow factor for me.

I agree with you and Twilight021 on this one. I really feel that the Spiderman movies were generally better thought out than most of the other Marvel films that I've seen. I am also not a fan of Halle Berry as Storm and in some ways I feel that they've taken too many liberties with the characters. I know that there is only so much they can fit into the movies, but there are times when the X-Men movies just lose the feel of the characters. The Spiderman movies on the other hand are great. The stories are full and I think they did an exellent job with making Peter Parker young and snarky without coming off as a brat. You can't help but root for him and you can tell that the director has a real love for the chracters.

Being a x-men fan, i have to say that the x-men movies are my favorites, in particular the second one, the mutant persecution by gorverment sanctionatd forces storyline is great, and main characters already introduced in the first movie get the action rolling from the get go, for me this one is the best.

I love Uncanny X-Men series, and I was really disappointed with the movie since they did not stick with the story line. But it was nice to see X-men characters in flesh. heheheh... Why didn't you like Storm in the movie? Is it becaused of her hair? hehehe I do agree with you regarding Spiderman, they somewhat followed the story line.

I completely agree, the films did not stick to the story. I did not like Halle Berry's performance as Storm because Storm in the comics is a regal and goddess-like woman. It had nothing to do with the hair. Halle just does not have Storm's presence and personality. Spider-Man was awesome. That film was brilliant. It nearly mimics the comics, their are a few things that are off, but it is nothing serious like in X-Men, in X-Men, a lot of the storyline was off.

I would have to say Spiderman and the X-men. Both of these movies were very well done and get better with each film. The X-men have such class actors as Magneto and Professor X it givs the movies an extra added something.

I will agree on that. The casting for Professor X and Magneto was perfect.

I love the X-Men movies as well as Spiderman and The Fantasitc Four. I think they did a great job with all three of them. I'm blanking though on if Daredevil was theirs or not. I know horrible of me. Out of them though I think X-Men is my favorite. I love the characters and they did great casting for them. They found the right actors for each.

You are going to be thrilled to see Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. That one is going to be good. Spider-Man 3 will be good as well.

I didn't like x-men. I don't like what they did with the story, but maybe it's because I grew up watching the x-men cartoons shown in fox that's why I got disappointed with the story line. Spider-man is ok but I really liked Fantastic Four, or maybe it's just the guy playing the torch that I really liked LOL.

absolutely spider-man2!!!! solid script, just the right amount of action, drama and funny. all aspects were well balanced. as hard as i try i can not find anything wrong with this film. if there are, everything that makes this movie right probably buried them. as for the x-men... i'm sorry, i haven't seen one that i really really liked. but the 2nd movie came pretty close. as for the others they usually leave me asking why they bothered in the first place.
