Best food for babies

What do you feed your babies once he/she can start eating solid food? In my case, I initially gave her rice cereals. Eventually, I started feeding her with cereals with different flavors. My daughter also loves eating fruits (mashed of course!) like banana, orange & watermelon. (",)

Have you tried giving her vegies like potato, sweet potato, pumpkin and carrot? Just mash them up like you do fruit. Only offer one at a time though. eg. potato for 3 days. Then carrot for 3 days. Then you can offer a mixture of potato and carrot. For breakfast, you could also try offering Weet-Bix (but with formula or EBM instead of 'normal' milk). Over time (you still have to mash it up), but still leave a few lumps so that she learns to chew. Hope that helps!
